David Beckham (Manchester United & England) suffered at the hands of the press for admitting he had indulged in a little bedroom clothes swapping with his wife. Previously called Becks, he was renamed Becky.
He handled it well though. This was nothing compared to the vicious press mauling he received after being sent off against Argentina in the World Cup in '98.
