Automated Bingo Card Generator

This generator may be used to produce pages of classic bingo hall bingo cards, each page containing 6 bingo cards, containing the numbers 1 to 90.

This may be useful for preparing a game of bingo for people who are unable to get easily to a bingo hall, and where the cost of commercial bingo equipment is prohibitive for infrequent use.

How to Play Bingo

Each player has a sheet with six bingo cards on it. Each bingo card has 3 rows of 9 columns. Each row contains five and only five numbers in it, making a total of 15 numbers per card. Six cards, therefore, contain ninety numbers. The numbers one to ninety appear once, and once only, over a sheet of six bingo cards. Therefore, once you have spotted a called number, on a particular bingo card, you do not need to look for it on another bingo card.

People pay a sum to enter the game, say £1 each. So if ten people enter we have a 'pot' of £10. The pot is divided 3 ways, say 10%, 20% and 70%. The 3 prizes are awarded for the first line completed (on ONE bingo card out of the six), any two lines completed (on any bingo card), and completing ALL THREE lines (on any bingo card).

The Bingo caller will have the numbers one to ninety (could be on balls, or cut out from this page) in a container, and will draw numbers out RANDOMLY and will call out the numbers so everyone can hear. The players will mark the numbers off their bingo cards. The game will move through the phases 'any one line', 'any two lines', 'all three lines' (full house). The players must shout out (any phrase e.g. YES!) if they have satisfied that stage of the game BEFORE anyone else.

An evening of bingo may include several games. Usually these are printed on different colour pages, so everyone is playing the right game.

Novice bingo players may choose to fold their bingo sheet in half, and only concentrate on three of their six bingo cards. This gives them a better chance of spotting their completed lines, and calling out when they have won.

How To Use This Page

You need to select a 'Game Title' and a 'Game Color' on the form above. These are only really important if you want to play several games. The 'Game Color' will put a colored border around the bingo cards. This is only useful if you have a color printer. Otherwise, just choose 'white' and use the 'Game Title' to identify different games.

When you have selected the 'Game Title' and 'Game Color', click on 'Generate Bingo Card'. This will produce a sheet of six bingo cards. You should print this out. This sheet of bingo cards will have a button on it marked 'Next Bingo Card'. Click this to generate a NEW sheet of bingo cards which will have the SAME 'Game Title' and 'Game Color'. Repeat this for as many people as will be playing.

To create bingo cards for NEW games, start again at this page, and define a new 'Game Name' and 'Game Color'.
